Following the initiation of corneal refractive therapy our patients can see clearly during the waking portion of their day without eyeglasses or contact lenses, however the effects will quickly wear off and their vision will return to its former state unless the special lenses are worn again at night, not necessarily every night but frequently enough to prevent the cornea from reverting to its former state.
