If you’re considering contact lenses, you’ll first need to get a comprehensive eye exam to determine if you are a good candidate. If so, you’ll need to get a special contact lens exam which includes a contact lens fitting to determine the type of Fulton contact lenses that would be best for you.
There are many different types of contact lenses some of which include: soft contact lenses, disposable, daily wear, color changing and hard contact lenses. Choosing the right one for you has to be based on how well the lens corrects your vision, how well the lens fits, and how comfortable it is to wear. The Fulton contact lenses that are most frequently prescribed are soft contact lenses. They are extremely popular because of the comfort level they provide. Soft contact lenses can now be used for people who have astigmatism and dry eyes. Hard contact lenses are great because they offer very sharp vision. They can correct astigmatism and nearsightedness. However, since they are more rigid, they aren’t as comfortable as soft contact lenses and can take longer to adjust to. Other contact lens options include: daily wear, extended wear, disposable, and color changing. Daily wear contacts can be worn for up to 12 hours, while extended wear can be worn on a much more flexible schedule. Disposable contact lenses can only be worn for a short time and then need to be discarded. Color changing lenses can be used to change the color of your eyes even if you don’t have a vision problem! Some people use them solely for cosmetic purposes.
